Introducing SPARK Communities

ENAR Foundation is building pan-European professional communities for racialised individuals that offer:

- Virtual meeting spaces for professionals to meet their peers from across Europe,

- Networking and professional development opportunities,

- A space that recognises your experience and innate skills,

- A space to attract and build new professional opportunities for underrepresented groups in the workplace.

Join the SPARK Academia community

Under the “SPARK Academia” name we are working to build a community of Europe-based Academics and people who work in academic teaching, research, application, to come together and share practice, support, guidance and new possibilities.

SPARK Academia membership perks include:
  • A fully stocked resources centre to keep your skills sharpened and develop your academic teaching, learning and research practice

  • A space for you to share and learn from fellow members’ experiences and best practices and get personalised feedback, supervision, and coaching

  • A space to share thoughts, concerns, ideas, and opportunities with likeminded colleagues from across Europe

  • Employment and Research Opportunities Board

  • Regular ‘Expert Witness’ talks

  • Training and development workshops

  • A space to share your works-in-progress, networking for research collaborations

  • Monthly virtual get-togethers for professional and personal support

  • In-person retreats to inspire, celebrate, support and come together

  • Dialogue with different professionals working in the University sector across different disciplines, subjects, application arenas and countries

  • A digital community to connect you to fellow members from across Europe.

Our intention is to build a network FOR US, BY US, so that we can thrive, connect, share and contribute to an anti-racist working environment throughout Europe!
