Artworld.be - The world seen through the eyes of Brussels artists

The ENAR Foundation is a partner of the 10-day exhibition Artworld.be. The exhibition is a journey through the world as seen by diverse Brussels-based artists. The project was launched by Sanae, a 25-year old cultural activist and 26-year old Ilyas, a tireless globetrotter. From his trips from around the world, Ilyas brought back beautiful pictures of the world he saw; the exhibition will allow 53 artists from very different cultural and artistic backgrounds to reinterpret these pictures.

They (re)-create the world as they see it!

In addition to giving a great visibility opportunity to the Brussels artists, the proceedings of the sales of the exhibition products (catalogues, postcards) will be given to Dafa Yow, an NGO that develops humanitarian and culture projects in Senegal.
The renowned plastician Hamsi Boubeker will create on the spot a piece of art using his famous concept: the hands of hope.

The exhibition will take place between 11 to 22 September, in Les Caves de Cureghem, rue Ropsy Chaudronstraat, 24 Anderlecht.
